As I write this I'm upgrading my wife's iPhone 3G to iOS 4, so I'm probably going to end up sleeping in the shed tonight: upgrading my 3G rendered it unusable, and while a factory reset seems to have improved things it's still pretty slow. I want the new features, but it looks like I have to suffer a slower phone in order to have them. I'm not the only one: when we asked iPhone owners for their update experiences yesterday, 3GS owners were generally happy and 3G owners were hurling themselves off buildings.

Yesterday, in a session on ‘Mobile Communications 2.0′ at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Facebook’s VP of User Growth, Mobile and International Expansion Chamath Palihapitiya shared the social networking giant’s current mobile strategy and its plans for the future. It was in this session that the company for the first time talked about its latest product, Facebook Zero , which is essentially a stripped down, text-only version of the mobile website for the social networking service. The product aims to give mobile carriers a way to offer a basic Facebook experience to their subscribers free of charge and later convert those users into premium data service customers.

Apple’s Stock Message application is limited, you can only send and forward SMSes apart from that you can’t do anything which suxx bigtime !!! Apple’s Message app lacks very common features that a basic phone has like you cant see how many SMSes you’ve sent, this is very important when your plan has limited number of SMSes, Chracter count, Drafts and Templates.Well those are the basic functions that a cheap Phones have and but our iPhone lacks ! Thanx to Apple !! Well there are quite few good Messaging apps available on cydia one them is iRealSMS 3.0 .  iRealSMS 3.0 adds all those basic features including some cool add-ons like Contacts picx, Smileys, Search SMSes, Forward via Mail, Password Lock.
