The most famous Social Bookmarking Site – Digg is available now on iPhone after a really long wait. Digg app helps you keep up with all the content from the website – from ‘recent’ to ‘upcoming’ diggs in all the various categories sourced in from the site: Technology, World & Business, Science, Gaming, Lifestyle, Entertaimment, Sports and OffBeat.

You can search and vote (digg) on stories but for that you will need to log in or crate a new account. You can Digg the recent/upcoming stories, browse by category, or search by keyword. There is also a feature of email stories, share it on facebook or on Twitter. Another neat feature is the ’save your interested’ stories into a list to be accessed later for read. The links are read inside the app.

The interface is good and easy for browsing and searching interesting articles to read. One downside is that you can comment from the app; wonder why? Hope the developers can start commenting soon.

I feel that there also should be a way we can connect with these emrgency stations through this app for any emergency or some enquiry.

Soccer App on iPhone makes it easy for users to see FIFA World Cup 2010 stats. Count down screen provides the information regarding days, hours, minutes and seconds remaining in Soccer World Cup 2010. By tapping “Event” on tab bar, screen will show current day’s matches.


On start of Soccer World cup 2010 on tapping Events on tab bar user will be able to score updates of any live match (Only available in paid version of the app).
A total of 204 teams entered the qualification process of FIFA world cup 2010. For the 2010 edition of FIFA World Cup the 32 qualified teams include 13 from Europe, 5 from Africa, 5 from South America, 4 from Asia,3 from North-Central America and 1 from Oceania. 32 teams, including host South Africa will play in the final World Cup 2010 event. These 32 teams have divided into 8 groups. By tapping “Groups” on tab bar, screen will show teams as per their groups and points.

We saw how Dave Phillips was able to control his car using his iTouch. It was done courtesy the RedEye app from the iTunes apps store. We thought that we should give a chance to everyone to come up with something more innovative with the help of this app. So here is our review of the app:

RedEye is your personal remote control. RedEye is a infrared transmitter that you can control with your iPhone or iPod touch to communicate with a TV, music player or a video via WiFi to the dock. The remote can function on more than one equipment at a time.
Importantly, you need to buy the RedEye hardware separately to actually use the application.


After buying the hardware, I would advice to go through the video tutorial which is a part of the iPhone app (I am assuming you have already downloaded the free app from iTunes). The video tutorial is created by the developer to showcase the usage of the RedEye to it’s optimum.
RedEye is a very simple, unique and smart way of using the electronic equipments at home.

Day Of Death is an app which tells you which day you are going to die. To calculate your death date, simply answer few questions like do you drink, smoke or eat tons of fast food, your state of mental happiness. Answer them accurately. (And I’m sure it will have you dead soon. Lol :) )

My answer came down to 6.18.2061  I have 50 more years before I die ;)

But the best part is when you try increasing the options of alcohol or smoking and it will reduce the number of years that you will survive.

This is hilarious, but I tried to get the Day of Death for Michael Jackson on this app. With the best options I could give for him and it turned out his death day is in 2031; which is obviously not accurate. So don’t worry too much about when you will die but live a healthy life and enjoy every moment with your loved ones.

I would advice you to take this app as purely for entertainment and not to take it seriously. Do share your views on the comments section below with your day of death. Let us know how soon you are dying :)
