We certainly aren’t used to Apple leaking such meaty details so easily, but as it seems there is a mention of the January 27th event in the Apples agreement with iPhone app developers.  This update to the developer agreement hasn’t leaked any specific details, but just lists “Placeholder Agreement: Need to update this for the 27th launch”. One thing this certainly confirms is that there would be an update of somekind to the iPhone / iPod touch OS which very well hints that the iTablet would run a modded version of the Apple tablet! We have heard rumors before that certain selected App developers have been asked to make their apps scale to a larger screen, but nothing for certain was said.

If data from Flurry is to be believed, the Cupertino campus of Apple is testing as many as 50 iTablets and they have tested over 200 different apps in a recent spike of activity. The fact that Flurry is tracking the activity back to Cupertino is certainly the most convincing point.
